“POLICE CORRUPTION & RACIAL INJUSTICE IN EVANS, GEORGIA”
Since the 1980s, when my family and I moved to the notorious
Central Savannah River Area we noticed an appalling, unjust, racist, and
feminist political establishment in Georgia and South Carolina, that’s
programmed to systematically destroy, undermine, and imprison young African
American males. During my long career as a Civil Rights Activist/Investigator,
Political Candidate, Christian Minister, School Teacher, and accomplished Book
Author; I’ve learned that the worst and most corrupt and racist communities in
the state of Georgia are Evans and Martinez (known as Columbia County). The
political and governmental structure here is infamous for public school
scandals, corporate business misconduct, blatant racial discrimination, and law
enforcement corruption. Fortunately, I am well-known for exposing the social
and racial profiling in Augusta Georgia and Aiken South Carolina. But my recent
exploits in Columbia County have proved to be a costly and challenging
investigative case. I relocated to Evans Georgia with my family in early 2016,
to discover a multimillion dollar cesspool of unethical and unlawful business
practices from government agencies, churches, and companies in the area:
Promoting racism, job discrimination against Black men, and a network of
corruption and misconduct involving the incompetent and slanderous local media,
the sleazy tabloid newspaper- the Augusta Chronicle, the Sheriff’s Department,
and the public school system. That’s why the Evans/Martinez community is widely
known by longtime residents as “Cash County”. I learned exactly what that meant
when I was unofficially hired to teach and Volunteer by the Columbia County
Board of Education. Within a couple months I (along with other African
Americans) began experiencing racial & job discrimination, black on black
prejudice, and suffered harassment from incompetent female school employees and
administrators, uncle tom negroes or “sell-outs”, and degenerate rednecks. As a
school representative and educator, I voiced my concerns to the Human Resources
Department and the Superintendent Sandra Calloway, and was given the runaround.
I finally discovered from the H.R. Department’s incompetent Supervisor Anthony
Wright- that indeed; job favoritism, nepotism, feminism, racism, and
deliberately blackballing qualified African American men from obtaining
full-time or permanent teaching positions in Columbia County Public Schools was
the norm! Witnesses had informed me that the Boards of Education in Augusta and
Evans Georgia, have a sordid reputation for bribing Complainants and
Whistleblowers (especially women) to keep hidden scandals or cases of
misconduct and corruption in the public schools quiet, oftentimes settling out
of court, intimidating or discrediting parents to keep quiet, and utilizing the
local racist newspapers and news media to: omit damaging or negative publicity,
slander exposers, and put a positive “spin” of lies to make negligent female
public school administrators and the faculties of both school systems appear to
be honest and efficient! Soon I filed complaints against the incompetent and
inefficient Columbia County Board of Education for job discrimination and
racism. Afterwards, I was quickly and publicly slandered by the news media, me
and my family were harassed by the Department of Social Services and the
police, based on false accusations by the notoriously racist and scandalous
EVANS HIGH SCHOOL, and I was subjected to a wrongful arrest simply because I
was exposing criminal activity and racial discrimination at the school and the
Board of Education. I’m practically an alumni at this crummy school with a
history that dates back to 1988. I was among the many people that revealed the
high school football cheating scandal when dishonest and racist football
coaches: Joe Cassidy and Buddy Holder were illegally using their sons who were
football players to use hidden radio receivers installed inside their helmets
to call out plays on the football field. The Evans High School football
cheating scandal rocked the C.S.R.A., and the coaches involved were disciplined
but were never fired until years later! Since then hundreds of allegations,
discrimination lawsuits, cases of misconduct by principals, faculty members,
and students have diminished the school’s one-time sold reputation. Evans High
School’s short list of numerous scandals involving faculty members include:
Theft, child abuse and molestation, cheating, bringing guns to school, and
false arrests of honest students, parents, volunteers, and teachers by the
historically racist and corrupt Evans High School administrators who have a
long history of covering up their unlawful practices of corruption.
Unfortunately and unwisely, I returned to that lousy school (because I lived
nearby) to work as a Substitute Teacher and a Volunteer Mentor in August 2016.
I was granted permission to work in the Music Department and to be on the
school’s list as a Substitute Teacher by the Principal’s Secretary Staci
Johnson and Music Band Director Zachary Bradley. Within two months I was
harassed by Principal Michael Johnson, a dishonest and racist bastard who was
under investigation for secretly allowing kids to bring guns to school (Evans
most recent scandal involved two students making bomb threats and bringing guns
to school), and senior faculty members stealing school equipment and supplies
and selling it to parents, high school patrons, and other employees, and
sometimes giving away school materials, merchandise, and food to the public
(which was substantiated by school surveillance video numerous times)! I
discovered from long-time residents that the public school scandals of corruption
and unlawful money making schemes are definitely tied into other government
agencies and private businesses in Evans Georgia; like the Columbia County
Sheriff’s Department and the Columbia County Detention Center in Appling,
Georgia, which specializes in arresting hundreds of young men (including people
who are associated with Evans High School) every month, who are only suspected
of a misdemeanor offenses, and after being booking in jail these corrupt cops
add “surprise” charges to illegally detain inmates and make it harder to bond
out! Upon arrest, they are never read their Miranda rights, and even if found
not guilty they suffer defamation of character by the Augusta Chronicle
newspaper and local media (basically people in the community are found guilty
till proven innocent by law enforcement), and experience many cases of wrongful
arrests. Area residents and former police officers attest that the real
criminals are the Columbia County & Richmond County Sheriff’s Departments,
which have a long history of making false arrests, lying to suspects,
entrapment, illegal search & seizures, manipulating innocent people, and
subverting the law- just to obtain convictions and sequester millions of
dollars in fines for the negligent & corrupt: District Attorney, Solicitor,
Probation Offices in the Central Savannah River Area! These “Cash Counties”
literally make most of their money in exploitation of the poor, government
corruption, and law enforcement extortion through the penal system which is
reduced to modern day slavery! Given the facts of recent events in the news
regarding mass police shootings across the country -killing innocent Black men,
feminism, Satanism, homosexuality, lack of respect and trust in American
values, and Black on Black prejudice, it’s clearly evident that this is no
longer a nation under God. The Detention Center in Columbia County is notorious
for: Treating male inmates like slaves, denying medical treatment to minority
inmates, habitually lying to inmates & illegally recording phone
conversations to help the prosecution, and deliberately delaying court cases to
unfairly keep men in jail longer, utilizing the media and scandalous newspapers
like the Augusta Chronicle to slander inmates before being charged with a
crime, entrapment, and deliberately keeping first time offenders on petty
charges for several months and sometimes years without due process or informing
them of their legal rights, and allowing them legal council! I learned from
people in the community that the evil men and women who run Columbia County
make thousands of dollars from each inmate that is booked into the Columbia
County Detention Center! Encouraging and prompting dishonest people working for
government or private agencies to bribe or solicit corrupt and racist Columbia
County Police Officers to frame, entrap or set up unsuspecting young men (who
don’t know the law), and unlawfully charge them with a crime! The police
departments in Columbia & Richmond County have a long and well-known
reputation for: Unwarranted police shootings, police corruption, brutality,
false arrests, and unlawful entrapment. I witnessed the police first hand: Publicly
violate my civil rights, neglect reading me my Miranda rights, falsely arrested
me, questioned my son who is a minor, filed a false report to the Department of
Social Services, harassed my wife, and illegally search my house without a
search warrant! During my investigation in Columbia & Richmond County, I
learned that they are literally thousands of reported cases like mine, witness
statements, and incident reports substantiating all of these facts about the
racial injustice and the police and public school corruption of these “Cash
Counties” in the Central Savannah River Area (Columbia, Richmond, and Aiken
Counties) and much more! Witnesses in the community, informed me that the
Columbia County Sheriff’s Department is the worst when it comes to: False arrests,
job discrimination, racism, discriminating and targeting (racial profiling)
minority men who are decent and hardworking citizens- especially if they are
reported civil rights activists who publicly complain or expose the racist and
corrupt political and government establishments in Evans & Augusta Georgia,
and Aiken County South Carolina. As a Civil Rights and Black Community Leader,
I feel like that it is my duty to expose racist bastard women and men, and
“Uncle Toms” in Columbia County and the entire Central Savannah River Area that
promote social and racial injustice, making America a worse place to live! In
truth, it was because of my commitment to helping others, civil rights,
Christian Evangelism, and exposing injustice -why I was targeted and falsely
arrested in “Cash County” and wrongfully charged with a crime that I didn’t
commit (I didn’t now that school supplies and uniforms that was given to me by
Evans High School employees was stolen until after my arrest)! With the help
from my attorney, family, and honest citizens in the community, I plan to fight
and get my “trumped up” and ridiculous charges dropped, and file lawsuits
against the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department for false arrest, and sue the
racist Augusta Chronicle (along with the local media affiliates) for slander
and defamation of character! God allowed me, my family, and many others to
suffer persecution because WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD. And it’s because of my faith
and enduring commitment to God, that He has promised me VICTORY over my enemies
and the corrupt religious and political leaders of the C.S.R.A. They failed to
destroy me and my family by the eternal grace and mercy of God and His Holy
Spirit, and my enemies will always fail to stop me from preaching the Word of
God, and advocating for men’s civil rights! With all of the unwarranted racist
police shootings, killing innocent Black men, and falsely arresting African
Americans all over the country- Someone like me has to take a stand like Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr., and Malcolm X did, to fight and expose law enforcement
corruption and racial injustice, not just in Columbia County, Georgia but all
over the America.

Racism in Evans & Martinez Georgia
By DJHALL | Posted April 3, 2010 | Evans, Georgia
CNN PRODUCER NOTE
To Whom It May Concern,
I sit here writing this email, tears pour from my eyes just thinking about how my son have been mistreated for about a month.
On Thursday, 1 April 2010, I visited Lakeside High School (LHS), Evans, GA to report the racial slurs said to my son. I initially released an email to the LHS baseball coach, Mr. Shelton, as well as, the LHS Principle, Mr. Carney, on the evening of 31 March at 8:56pm which briefly mentioned the need to speak with them in person to address the treatment of my son as a player on the baseball team.
Mr. Carney responded indicating he was unable to meet with me but he will have others available during Mr. Shelton’s planning period. Attendees at the meeting were I, Darlene Hall; Assistant Principle, Tim Reeves; Athletic Director Mr. Burch; and Baseball Coach/Social Studies Teacher, Mr. Shelton. There were several topics discussed regarding Mr. Shelton’s comments he had made during a conversation with my husband the day before, his coaching style, and the disciplinary actions he had taken against my son the previous week. As the conversation proceeded, there were many indications that pointed in the direction of racism, which was ultimately the root cause of my meeting request.
I further explained that my son had informed me that several players on the baseball team were continually harassing him and throwing out racial slurs. To mention a few, my son told me that one of the children motioned as if he were wrapping a noose around his neck and then pulling it. Again, motioning I’m going to kill you as they sat in Latin class. In my opinion, this is a threat on my son’s life. Another example is when my son walked into the baseball locker room and one of the players stated, “Why are you walking over here Nigger?" Then the assistant coach replied, "Hey, I don’t want to hear that anymore”. Another such incident occurred when my son was fielding a ball and he sneezed. The player on the field next to him responded and said, “Nigger, you didn’t get permission to sneeze. The next time you need to sneeze you need to get permission”. I can go on and on as this have been occurring since the beginning of the baseball season.
I made immediate contact with the Columbian County Board of Education and spoke with the Assistant Superintendent, Sandra Carraway, 706-541-2723, ext. 5206. She assured me that Columbia County didn’t condone such behavior and the situation would be investigated. I certainly have doubts about that.
After talking with the Board of Education and meeting with the representatives from Lakeside High School, I then visited the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office at which time I filed a report with Officer Joseph Anderson. Officer Anderson and I discussed the racial slurs, he wrote nothing down and I even asked the officer if he knew the individuals named. His response was no. At the conclusion of the discussion I was provided Report #10-006330. I’ve attempted to retrieve the final report from the on-line web site, but have been unsuccessful as there is no record of the report number. Suspicions indicate that something is not right. This places everyone in a precarious situation. The good old boy network is at work again.
These types of incidents are not acceptable in today’s society. As I mentioned to those I’ve spoken with, if my child’s temperament had been different I sincerely believe Columbia County Georgia would be dealing with a violent situation. I do not send my child to school to get bullied, harassed or called out of his birth name.
This situation brings additional concerns to light regarding many Columbia County Schools. There is a large percentage of children attending Lakeside High School and their parents are a part of the faculty staff, or they volunteer every day or they have some sort of direct tie to the school. Unofficially I’ve been told that many incidents are swept under the rug and silenced to prevent public attacks. The concerted efforts to keep out the unknown exist amongst the Columbia County parents and students alike as the notion is that people of color should not be playing baseball. Moreover, it’s appalling to witness such outwardly displayed actions towards those considered to be on the “outside”. It’s very obvious that racial slurs are spoken loosely around the students that display this type of behavior, but it is not acceptable. Unequivocally, enough is enough!
I recommend a thorough Federal, State, and Local investigation is conducted in Columbia County School System as there could be many skeletons coming out of the closet on this one. This includes skepticism with the local law enforcement as well.
I mentioned during the meeting with LHS, I strongly recommend Diversity/Sensitivity training become mandatory for coaches, teachers, or even the athletic participants if it is not a requirement today. I would also recommend that the baseball season at LHS is suspended for next year, 2011. There is simply no accountability in the way the athletic program, specifically at LHS. As such, Columbia County should understand that this situation should not be taken lightly.
As we all know bullying cases have drastically increased within schools across our nation and it’s obvious that racial discrimination still exists in the South. I will not stand by and accept the way my son is being treated as he does not deserve it. This is AMERICA and everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity no matter what color you are.
